Mirror, mirror on the wall – in the Big Apple!

Following last week’s announcement that NIE’s Snow White will be at Cambridge Junction for the 2025 festive season, we are excited to share that we will also be heading to New York this Autumn!

New 42 have unveiled their 2025-26 New Victory season, which will celebrate the 30th anniversary of the historic New York theatre’s reopening as the City’s first theatre for children and families in 1995.  We are delighted to share that Snow White will be the opening show in this special birthday season of performances.  In this re-telling of the classic fairy tale you can join our charmingly cheerful heroine as she escapes her hilariously homicidal stepmother with help from a bunch of feisty woods-dwelling, banjo-strumming, washboard-wearing vegans. This rustic romp affirms the belief that even the most evil deserve a chance at redemption.

Artistic Director Alex Byrne’s adaptation of Snow White is a story about jealousy and love, and how we come to value ourselves. It is a glorious mix of comedy songs and original music, which we can’t wait to share with New Victory audiences!”

Snow White was originally a New International Encounter, Cambridge Junction and Tobacco Factory Theatres co-production. The United States premiere will be presented on 1^st November 2025 By New 42 and the New Victory Theater at New Victory Theater.
