What the F**k is Going On?

I can know everything about everything but do I want to? I can share my thoughts, my ideas, pictures of my self with the whole world. I can tell everyone how I feel….

But what if I feel terrible?

What if the world is awful? What if I don’t want to know anything about anything and nothing means anything anyway? What if my life falls apart in sync with the world outside collapsing?

What the f**k is going on…..?

Sometimes feelings take over and grow into a big thing. Like a monster. Like Godzilla. Maja finds it difficult to talk to fam- ily and friends about her situation. As Maja’s challenges grow, the outside world’s theories about what the problem might be also grows. Well-seasoned with things the family have looked up online, the list of suggestions becomes long. Is she becom- ing radicalized? Is she pregnant? Prostituton? In love? Drug addiction? WTFIGO? This is a story about growing up, about be- ing part of a family, and about having a problem that must be solved in order to survive.
With storytelling and humor, NIE takes us on a journey into the teenage room. In a world filled with love, vitality and joy, where there also is a great uncertainty and grief over a secret problem.
The performance has been developed in collaboration with teen- agers 13-16 years old who contributed with their stories to the project.

The show premiered at the Regiony Festival in Hradec Kralove, Czech Republic, 27th of June 2022 in co-production with Brage Teater.
