As we wait for the props to be loaded in, the lights focussed, and the stage set for opening night, we wanted to introduce to you the ensemble cast for this Christmas’s Snow White.

This festive family show is playing at Cambridge Junction from 4th-24th December 2025. We asked the cast some questions about the show, and themselves, to get to know them a bit better:

2

Joey Hickman (Caleb & Chorus)

  • What’s your favourite moment in the show?

When the Step Mother does her solo scat singing at the end of the All The Women In The Land song – never fails to make me almost corpse on stage.

  • What’s your favourite take on a fairytale?

NIE’s Hansel & Gretel!

  • What’s your favourite veggie-based meal?

Something home made and tasty!

3

Stefanie Mueller (The Queen)

  • What’s your favourite moment in the show?

My favourite moment to play is the first scene between the Stepmother and the huntsman … it is so deliciously manipulative in a very naughty way. It’s outrageous.

My favourite moment in our story is the attempt of forgiveness at the end – the hope for a new start with newly discovered values

  • What’s your favorite take on a fairytale?

Fairy tales show you that there is another path on the other side of a challenging obstacle

  • What’s your favourite veggie-based meal?

A spicy stir fry with fresh crunchy veg and herbs – possibly Thai

5

Alex Murdoch (Cariad & Chorus)

  • What’s your favourite moment in the show?

Personally, it’s when my character Cariad talks to the Queen about what beauty really is. Steffi who plays the Queen is a truly wonderful actor and a treat to play with.

  • What’s your favourite take on a fairytale?

Fairytales seem simple but contain so many layers and meanings. I love takes where you find the essence – there was a UK company called Kneehigh who did that well with The Red Shoes – and of course NIE are brilliant at it!

Another good take? I never get bored of Shrek.

  • What’s your favourite veggie-based meal?

I love this Italian bean stew called Ribollita, cannellini beans, tomatoes, rosemary, olive oil.

4

Abayomi Oniyide (Jakob, Robin & Chorus)

  • What’s your favourite moment in the show?

Jakob’s rap!

  • What’s your favourite take on a fairytale?

My favourite take on a fairytale is that there is always a morale at the end of it.

  • What’s your favourite veggie-based meal?

Cheesy Asparagus Orzotto.

1

Samantha Sutherland (Leslie & Chorus)

  • What’s your favorite moment in the show?

All of the music

  • What’s your favorite take on a fairytale?

I love the film Tangled! A very funny take on Rapunzel.

  • What’s your favourite veggie-based meal?

Any veggie curry! I love spice, coconut-ty flavours and many many vegetables

6

Megan Vaughan-Thomas (Snow White)

  • What’s your favourite moment in the show?

Dying three very dramatic “deaths”

  • What’s your favourite take on a fairytale?

Actually I love the film The Princess Bride. The way it plays with story and fairytales and our expectations. I used to watch it on replay as a kid.

  • What’s your favourite veggie-based meal?

Baked potato, beans and cheese!
