"An emotional roller coaster that made me wonder, cry, laugh and feel both grateful and alive. "
— Audience feedback, Vega Scene in Oslo
"Almost like Night" is a show about arranging a funeral for someone you didn't know. About the end and the beginning of the universe, and about the uncertainty of whether we actually can say something certain at all. It is also a show about all the times we laugh and love each other unconditionally.
I inherited a flat from a guy I didn’t know. Unbelievable!
But it’s true.
Who puts their dead life in the hands of some stranger just like that?
I doubt I would put my life in anyone’s hands. Dead or alive.
When big things happen in my life, or I get carried away for some reason, it sometimes feels as if I see the things around me for the very first time. Like the first time I experienced them. That was exactly how I felt when I received that message. It felt like I was living in a dream or dreaming I was alive.
