"Just what the children desperately need"
— Primary School Teacher
A co-creation project in Cambridge looking at place and belonging.
In 2020, Covid-19 meant our original project working with Cherry Hinton Primary School and The Galfrid was interrupted. We adapted and made an online experience.
We also worked with Cambridge City Council to develop creative activity packs that were distributed through local food banks to include those without online access.
Due to subsequent lockdowns in autumn 2021 and Jan-March 2021, the project culminated in July 2021.
Tales From the Edge of Town is funded through Cambridge city Council Community grant, Awards for all and the Marshall Community First Fund managed by the Cambridgeshire Community Foundation.
