We're looking for new trustees in the UK - could you be the person we're looking for?
We are looking for new trustees in the UK – it is important for us to have a diverse board that not only reflects the communities we work with, and the stories we tell, but that trustees can also bring a range of experiences to challenge us. If you’d be interested in supporting the continual development of our organisation we want to hear from you, whether this would be your first trustee role, or you have a wealth of experience to share with us.
We are ideally looking for someone with a local connection to our UK base through living, working or studying in Fenland or wider Cambridgeshire, OR someone who has a particular strength and experience in one of the following:
o Education / working with young people
o Equality, diversity & Inclusion
o Arts/cultural organisation development
If you are interested in the role we would love to hear from you – knowledge or experience of working in the creative sector, or previous experience as a trustee, is not required at all. We have a broad range of skills and experience represented on our board, and any training needed will be provided.
Timescale – the closing date for expressions of interest is Wednesday 8th January 2025, with first stage interviews held online between the 13th and 31st January 2025.
How to apply – Applications should be sent via email to Lisa Elmer, Executive Director, with the subject NIE Trustee Recruitment. Please download the recruitment pack for full information on the trustee role and the information needed in an application.
