This autumn as part of our commitment to training and support diversity in our sector, we held a two-week talent development course in Cambridge focusing on co-creation and making theatre for young people.

Working with 23 artists, we explored devising, delivering workshops and co-creation, culminating in performances at Pathfinder primary school in a new development outside of Cambridge.

“Being brought on to be a part of this project made me feel seen and valued again after so long and I just wanted to tell you that. I not only found it reinvigorating on a personal level, the project itself was so moving that it has given me a renewed drive to make work and co-create with communities again.” Freelance artist

Feedback from children who participated in our co-creation project:

‘Lovely to laugh out loud’

‘Like theatre coming to the school’

‘I have never had loads of people come and perform so it was exciting for me’

‘I think it was very entertaining & very enjoyable’

‘I liked the magic. I’d love to do it all again. I liked the adventure because I can go anywhere in the entire world’
