"It’s a smart, portable Hamlet that proves big ideas travel well – even when they’re packed into a suitcase."
Our Shakespeare in a Suitcase – Hamlet tour has got off to a great start – reaching new audiences with schools & libraries performances in South Gloucestershire and sold out audiences at Polka, Wimbledon last week.
We are thrilled to have received some fantastic audience feedback from the Libraries shows:
“We were in awe! The actors, the music, the storytelling – we loved it all.”
– Audience Member
“Totally amazing! The children were so engaged as was I! The structure was very clever, loved it! This will definitely inspire the children to read.”
– Audience Member
“SO SO SO BRILLIANT! Clever and funny… Absolute vibe.”
– Audience Member
and a fantastic review from Chris Elwell at Everything Theatre:
“This is quality theatre…A smart, playful and musically rich Hamlet that distils Shakespeare’s biggest questions into an hour of inventive, child-centred storytelling without ever underestimating its young audience.”
