About the production
The show will tell the whole story of a Shakespeare play (title TBC) in just 60 minutes, using a limited number of actors and musicians. The show is designed to play to audiences of 8 years old and above. It will have a 4-week run in Polka’s Adventure theatre and then tour to schools in South London for 3 weeks. Further tours of small scales venues, schools and libraries, both nationally and internationally are planned for Autumn 2028.
NIE’s previous Shakespeare in a Suitcase productions include Hamlet and Macbeth and this new show will be made by the same creative team:
- Director Michael Judge
- Designer Rachana Jadhav
- Composer Greg Hall
